Yes Julie Marie, except for the rose in the vase. My cousin in Germany placed that in our room when we were there. She said it was her last rose of the summer. Now that's love! Ulrike
Hi Ulrike, How beautiful all the roses are and to see your comment about your cousin in Germany to Julie Marie that is just so precious! Love the cherubs too. Have a wonderful weekend sweetie! xo~Tracie
I so love roses, especially the old fashioned, highly scented ones. My soil is garbage here and they do not do well. One year, maybe two, and gone. Of all the things I miss from our previous home, it would be the dirt! (how many people could say that???) You are blessed with those plants; love them well!!!
Thank you for coming by my blog and for your sweet comments! For the altered roses, I did use stiff paper, but tissue would probably be fine...I think I would use several layers and let it be floppy, just like an English Rose with all of its pretty, looser petals. Rebecca
Oh wow, I love your roses! So very beautiful, and you did a great job photographing them as well! Thanks for your visit to my little blog. It's nice of you to stop by.
Just read your reply. I am a bit envious of you!!! They are so pretty!!! Wish I could come over and have a look...Can you tell me the name of the pink/lilac rose in the top middle of your mosaic? It is such a special colour.
Oh my, these are gorgeous! I opened your image in another tab so I could enjoy a closer look. I love, LOVE, love the light pink ones in the bottom right hand corner of your mosaic!
Oh goodness - your roses and photgraphs are beautiful - I can't wait until Spring when our roses are in bloom. In the meantime, we can enjoy your photographs.
Beautiful roses - I even love them faded and crumbling like the dried ones I have!
Ulrike, you are correct - I will be flying back from South Africa through Frankfurt! I have quite a long layover so I'm hoping I can at least shop at the airport - any nice shops there? I'll be taking an extra fold up Totes bag (love those little darlings) so I'll have room to grab some goodies!
did someone say roses? how did i miss this? i love roses:) the smell, the touch of their dew soft petals, the strength of their thorns. so feminine. graceful, beautiful ... yet look out, we can prick you if you are too rammy! lol i think rose infused oil is my fav yet that i have made. soothing yet gives me strength when i need it:) hugs to you ulrike

I was going to ask if there are photos taken in your garden but already read that someone else asked the same. Just beautiful!
Roses don't like the city garden we have.
Hugs ~
