Can you hear the music? She is swirling, dancing away.
If you click on the video above you can listen to Charo play the perfect piece for this doll. I don't know how many of you remember Charo she has been around since I was a young teenager. Back when hubby and I went on our honeymoon Charo was on the cruise so we got to meet her in person, and watch her perform. She is an excellent guitar player, so if you click on it you can imagine my doll spinning and dancing away.
So why do I have the doll here? When I was a child this doll who came from Spain always sat on my Tante's bed. It was always fun to visit her as she spoke English since she was married to a Scottish man. So during visits she always let me look at the Spanish doll. Oh how I loved that doll. So when it was time to come back to the states she gave it to me. Now it sits with a lot of my other dolls from around the world. Yet it holds a special place in my heart as this aunt has been gone for many, many years, but it reminds me of the special times that were spent with her.

Hi Ulrike,
What a beautiful story behind your doll. When I was a girl I used to collect dolls from all different countries as well! My grandparents always took one with them for me from their far jouneys. Your doll is very pretty!
Happy day!
Lieve groet, Madelief
