Home for rent, newly renovated, fresh paint! Beautiful area, lots of bugs, great flight way in to home. Plenty of neighbors in the area, very nice ones, oh, and the landlord is extremely nice. So come on in! start your little home "nest" for the little ones, and if you do the landlord said she'll probably let you have it for free!
Isn't it cute? The old one fell apart so I found this one up the hill in another tree, brought it down, and painted it. We have always had bluebirds here, and they would always nest in that one box. It was so much fun to watch them. I'm not sure if they will nest in this one or not as I have seen them checking out the other homes in the area. We shall see!

Hi Ulrike... that is so cute, I know the birdies will love it! I am anxiously awaiting our "renters" too! Our little homes are all ready for them, and I check each day... it's so much fun watching our feathered friends! xoxo Julie Marie
Great post, Ulrike! I enjoyed your "ad" for this home. ~wink~ You are so clever with your words!
It also looks as if you are clever of painting also. Beautiful job. Do you do any other painting?
What a cute home! Who wouldn't want to live there? Carla
Ulrike the birdhouse is adorable, you did a great job painting it. I especially like the little bluebirds on it.
LOVE your birdhouse Ulrike!! I have a soft spot for them anyway (could anyone have guessed that!). Love the picture you painted on it. And I love the fact that you get blue birds in your yard! I always wanted them in our yard, but alas, they never came. We did have the jays though. No bluebirds here either so I am doomed to spend my life never to have them in my own yard. boo hoo. So enjoy them for me, and that lovely new house you made for them. I hope you will find another one, and maybe it could be PINK! :-) hugs, Debby
That is a cute little birdhouse Ulrike, I would move in if I were a little bluebird!
It looks and sounds perfect ;-)
Have a nice evening,
Doris :-)
It looks like the perfect little home!
Blessings,
Sharon
I have never had a bird house but I'm inspired to look for one now. Did you know there are houses for bats? I considered that once in Austin, known for it's huge bat population.
Awesome job painting it! I bet someone will move in soon.
Hello Ulrike,
I hope you are having a pleasant weekend!
I just wanted to let you know that I've left a little something for you over at my blog

Hello again, Ulrike - I left you an "Easter Basket" on my blog if you want to come and see it:

Hippity-hop...Easter on its way :-)
Doris
I hope your bluebirds come back - we have a family in our garden but they have never nested in the 'official' Eastern Bluebird box yet! I think it's in the wrong
place, needs to be out in the open on a post, not the potting shed wall!
Hope you weren't affected by the bad storms like Charlotte was today - just had a little wind and rain tonight.
Glad you stopped by my new blog - you are always very welcome Ulrike and I love to read your generous words.
CUTE... I'm sure some bird will love to take up residence there!
Sending Easter blessings Ulrike - and hoping this lovely Spring weekend will be full of enjoyable pastimes.
I've been working very hard in the garden this week - just too hot too soon though - 90 yesterday and my shoulders are red! Also stung by a hornet - never a dull moment when toiling!! Planted a tulip magnolia tree, which I hope grows fast - also some Knockout Roses, creeping phlox, and another Carolina Jasmine on the back fence.
thanks for stopping by me new blog - the change has refreshed me and I know I will keep on plodding - I mean blogging!!!!!!!!
