That's a lot of wine!

One very interesting thing at the Heidelberg Castle which deserved it's very own post are the next few pictures. Here this picture points you in the direction to the great big wine barrel.

Now this one by itself is quite grand, but they were not satisfied with it.

So, this one was built. Does not look that big......

I have read several different sources that say this holds anywhere from 100,000 liters to 220,017 liters which amounts to 58,124 gallons!!!! Now that's a lot of wine!

I know when you think Germany, you think beer, but they do have excellent wine too!!
