Tulip time at the Biltmore

I don't know if I will ever make it to Holland to see the tulips, but these came a close second!

I can't even guess how many tulips were planted.  I did ask what they did with the tulips when they were finished, and was told  if they were not in the perennial bed that they were given to the employees.  I'd like to be an employee that day!  More garden photos to come!

Those photos are so gorgeous, Ulrike!! They remind me of the tulip fields in Holland and also the tulip fields in Holland, Michigan! Carpets of color!! Wonderful! Hugs, Silke

How gorgeous! Seems so funny that the south would still have tulips, while here, what with last months unseasonably hot weather, they have come and gone! Thanks for sharing xxxxx
