Spring chicks

Time sure has flown around here. It seems we had a very short spring and went straight into the end of May! Busy has been my middle name as we went from cool, rainy days to hot, temps with no rain. My greenhouse one day had a temperature of 96 inside! I had not even started any seeds as so many other things have been popping up here and there plus blooming way ahead of time.
The only thing that I can say was right on time was the new baby chicks I bought. Cute!

Even my amaryllis were off in blooming, but what did I care as both were really beautiful.

A lot of things were put on hold around here too as I took a fall going down the steps at my daughter's house. It was rainy, the steps were slick, and I wasn't holding on to the rail....too busy looking at a doctor bill, and needless to say I added to it! So, things are picking up around here, and it looks more like the end of May then the beginning of April.  I have a lot of photos uploaded that I will be sharing soon, and I look forwarded to blog reading once again!

Liebe Ulrike, I am happy to see you are back blogging. We have had some very very warm days here, too, but now spring is back to its normal April routine, with colder temperatures and a mixture of sun and rain. But nature has also exploded during the last few weeks, I think in no time the first roses will be blooming.
I hope you are not seriously injured from your slide and am wishing you "Gute Besserung"
Liebe Gruesse, Monika

Now you sound like me---doing the stairs tumble. I've done that enough in my life, I deserve a PRIZE.
Hope you are recovering okay!
We're the same up here; cold, then HOT, then warm, then cold again. The pollen count is off the charts and I have only been able to be outside a bit at a time.
My wisteria has exploded in bloom, but the magnolia, weeping cherry and flowering crab are all bloomed and gone. Could barely get photos before they were gone.
Feel like life is going way too FAST and I'm standing still!!! LOL!

XXOO~~
Anne
