A cuppa blue

Blueberries that is!! I picked these this morning. Our bushes are finally giving a little more, maybe I'll be able to make a blueberry cobbler this year!

Hope you've had a beautiful weekend!

Oooooooo...fresh blueberries, right of the bush! YUM!!!
We used to go pick up north of here...until the Japanese Beetles got so bad that I refused to go and risk getting one in my mouth! (of course, if I had had my mouth *shut*...ahem....)

XXOO!!

I'm jealous... my bushes are only 3 years old and so far have never even bloomed. Oh well, gardening teaches one to be patient...

We've got soooo many blueberries...I don't even know where to put them all...but I love them and I'll pick them as long as they're there. I think it's the most I've had since I lived here. They must like this weather!

Beautiful berries, Ulrike! I think blueberries are my favorite fruit...next to pears.

Oh, you lucky woman!!! Our blueberry bushes (1st year) are probably only going to have about 10 berries - enough to get a taste. Eat a piece of cobbler for me, ok?! Love, Silke

They look so much better than the ones in the shops - you must have given them a lot of TLC!
