The Rusty Hat Lady

While up in Connecticut last year hubby and I went around to a couple of antique shops.  I found this lovely lady while looking around, and no, I didn't buy it, and yes, I am still kicking myself for not buying it!
Her hat looks like an old rusted dish pan, maybe a funnel for the head, and such a lovely stand with perhaps a leaf design  on her skirt. So cute! Well, if we make it back up there this year I am going back to that shop to see if she is waiting for me.

She looks like she could have hopped into this car and gone for a ride! Next time I see something that cute I'm buying it!

Hi Ulrike,

Thank you for leaving those sweet comments! A big kiss and hug to you! Hope you survived the snow? It has been cold in Holland too. We had temperatures up to -23 degrees celcius in some parts of Holland at night. In Rotterdam we had -18. So so cold!!! Today all the snow has melted away and I could see some plants again. I hope they survived the artic weather.

Ulrike, I can't see the photo's on your latest post. Don't know if the problem is in my computer, but I thought I would let you know.

Wish you a happy new week & stay warm!

lieve groet, Madelief x
