Hi Heidi, this is Tess... thanks so much for introducing yourself to me and entering my doggie bloggie giveaway!... Good luck!... doggie kisses, Tess
As my house and studio attest, I love books. I love bookstores, I especially love used book stores, where I can look for things to read and things to take the scissors to.Oh, they ALL are good!(and I could use that chair too....)XXOO~~♥Anne
My husband was given two gift cards to a book store for Christmas and he was generous enough to share them with me. We went inside and went our separate ways. ;) He purchased three books on woodworking and gardening so he has plenty of reading material. I purchased 6 journals, so I have plenty of "writing" material. lol This book store in Asheville looks like a lovely place to spend some time!
That was the Screened Door. I love that bookstore too. And I love it when you post pictures of our blogger get together! Should we do it again this year? Maybe head downtown for antiquing?Hugs,Penny
Looks like my kind of place... What a wonderful little store, it's definitely a place I could spend hours in.
It was great to meet you at Penny's get-together. Everyone had such a great time. Wasn't that a fabulous bookstore at the Screened Door? I saw a French cookbook I wanted, but somehow put it back on the shelf and didn't purchase it. I can't wait to go back in the spring. I hope it's still there.Sam
Hi Ulrike,This looks like a bookstore that I would love to visit! It looks so cosy. We only have large bookshops here in town. Almost all the small ones have dissapeared. Is the snow gone in Georgia? We are having mild temperatures in Holland. Spring is really early this year. Hopefully it will stay this way, because snow and frost are still possible.Enjoy your weekend!Lieve groet, madelief
A nice chair and is it yours now?:o)Rosine
Hey I'm with Penny - would absolutely LOVE to do it again this year - what a grand time we all had. Let's plan something - will have to be between June and September for me though as I'm be away a lot!I've 'dumped' Bob in that book shop each time I've visited ScreenDoor - he even fell asleep in there on a couple of occasions - guess I shopped a looooong time!I see the daffodil leaves peeping through, yeah! Spring is on the way. Enjoy this weekend dear - hi to Craig and Lori too.
What a beautiful bookstore! It seems perfect for some relaxing hours with good books an a cup of tea.Liebe Grüße, Monika
