A couple resting, getting ready for the next "big" wave!
Riding the waves.
They liked this one area probably because of the field too, and there were quite a lot of them on both sides of the river. An interesting note: swans mate for life (like doves) although if no eggs occur they will "divorce"! They usually lay 3-7 eggs. I think that they are so graceful looking.

I have a neat photo of a pair of black swans. I didn't know they could be black too.
