SO glad you stopped by today and was...Hello Ulrike!<br />SO glad you stopped by today and was able to catch the post on my German Lebkuchen tins! <br /><br />Of all the goodies that I make at Christmas, Lebkuchen is my husband's favorite...and of course mine! :)<br /><br />I loved hearing about your walking down the street with your Opa and smelling the aroma of the spices! I have a German friend here who insists her grandchildren call her Oma rather than "Grandma" or "Nana", even though her children and grandchildren have always lived in the US. Marianne says, "With Oma I don't sound so old!" She's a dear! <br /><br />May I ask how long you've been in the US? I think it is a good idea.
